Rooted in Jewish tradition, legacy letters are a timeless practice for anyone seeking to pass on love, values and meaning.

Do you want to convey what has been most important in your life to your loved ones?

Whether you are writing a personal legacy letter or a statement of philanthropic intent, this work is about giving language to what matters most — so it can endure.

  • Are there family stories, traditions, or history that you wish to pass on to the next generation?

  • Are you interested in reflecting on your life experiences to assess where you are, what you have learned, and how you want to live the rest of your life?

  • Do you want to articulate the values and intentions behind your giving, so that those who carry it forward understand the heart of what you hoped to pass on?

A legacy letter is a deeply personal document that is written to communicate and clarify values, traditions, life lessons, spiritual guidance, apologies, blessings, affection, gratitude, and wishes. Your words can increase your self-clarity and become a guiding inner voice for your loved ones. These letters can be shared now — read aloud at a wedding, a milestone birthday, or a quiet family moment — or set aside to be discovered later.

I work with people one-on-one and lead small groups and workshops for organizations.

Leave your values,

not just your valuables.

Your legacy letter can become one of the most treasured gifts you ever give.

Here’s how it works:

Step 1: Sign up for a private or group Treasured Letters workshop.

Step 2: Receive guidance on how to articulate and structure your life experiences, wisdom, and values — translating what matters most to you into an authentic legacy letter or statement of philanthropic intent.

Step 3: Gain clarity about your life and the legacy you wish to share. Walk away with the beginnings of your letter.

Thank you for your program on legacy letters. I was looking for something for my Mother's birthday. Her 98th birthday was yesterday, August 10. I saw your program and decided a Celebration letter would be the right size and color. I had my siblings, our spouses, our son and our nephews, write a one-page letter to my Mom.  I put it in a booklet, that she can read it when she wants. It was a big hit. I made a copy of the booklet, for everyone who contributed.
